Tickets API

The Tickets API allows you to validate, redeem (check in), and manage experience tickets. Each experience booking automatically generates QR code tickets that can be scanned at check-in using a barcode scanner or mobile device.

How Tickets Workโ€‹

When an experience booking is created, tickets are automatically generated:

  • One ticket per participant in the booking
  • Each ticket has a unique code (e.g., EQTK-A3F8X9B2)
  • Each ticket contains a QR code that encodes a URL: https://app.equipdash.com/t/EQTK-A3F8X9B2
  • Scanning the QR code (or entering the code manually) validates and redeems the ticket

Ticket Code Formatโ€‹

Ticket codes follow the format EQTK-XXXXXXXX where X is an alphanumeric character. Codes are case-insensitive when validating.

When scanning a QR code, the scanner may capture the full URL (https://app.equipdash.com/t/EQTK-A3F8X9B2). The API automatically extracts the ticket code from URLs โ€” you can pass either the code or the full URL to the validate/redeem endpoints.
