Counter Prices

A shop can charge bookings its staff take at the counter (POS, Quick Book and the staff phone app) a percent more or less than the online price. The booking page, the website and marketplaces always use the online price.

It is off until the shop sets a percent. Each rental product and experience can follow the shop setting, keep the online price, or use its own percent.

percent is signed: -15 means 15% less. 0 means the counter charges the online price.

One item's override

Send counter_price with a product or experience update:

mode	Meaning
shop	Follow the shop setting
same	Always the online price
more / less	This item's own percent

The product and experience responses carry the same object back, plus effective_percent, the percent the counter charges for that item right now.

Quoting and booking at the counter

Pass price_channel: "counter" to Calculate pricing and Create booking. Without it both use the online price.

The booking stores price_channel. Later changes to that booking (new dates, more items) are priced at the same price, whatever the shop setting says by then.
