Undo a Status Change

Put a booking back one step when a pickup, return, check-in or completion was recorded by mistake.

Authentication

Requires a valid API key with bookings:write scope.

What each one does

Undo one step at a time: undo a return before a pickup, and a completion before a check-in.

To undo a no-show, use revert-no-show.

On a booking with the same activity on several days, revert-check-in undoes the latest day checked in; the earlier days stay checked in. revert-complete also puts a day kept as no_show back to confirmed.

The booking status is worked out from its items, so on a booking with both rental items and an experience, each endpoint changes only its own half.

• Payments and deposits are not changed.
• Each undo is added to the booking history and sends a booking.status_changed webhook.
• revert-complete withdraws any survey or review request the completion queued that has not been sent yet. Completing the booking again queues it afresh.

404	resource_not_found	The booking does not exist
403	forbidden	The booking does not belong to the API key's supplier
403	insufficient_scope	The API key is missing bookings:write
422	revert_failed	The booking is not in a state that step can undo. The message says why
